Andrew Dwane, owner of Rectify Electrical, grew up in Mangakino, a small rural New Zealand community as a third-generation electrician. My grandfather serviced the Mangakino area before my father, and from a young age I was around the trade and the practical problem solving that comes with it.

Over the years I’ve seen big changes in how we live and our reliance on electricity. From simple appliances plugged into the wall to homes filled with heat pumps, smart technology and devices designed to make life easier.

Working in a small community meant learning how to solve a wide range of problems - often without easy access to suppliers or specialists trades. That experience built strong troubleshooting skills and a practical understanding of how electrical systems work across homes, farms and small businesses.

Today I work with clients across Taupō, Mangakino and surrounding areas, helping people upgrade electrical systems, install new technology, and make sure everything works safely and reliably.
